So You Think You Can Drag?!
Overview
This is a poster I designed for a local non-profit orginization. The 7 Revers LGBT Center has an annual fundraiser called “So You Think You Can Drag?!” They approached me asking if I could help with advertisement this year and I happy to take on the task.
Design Elements
Explanation
I based my color choices off of the the LGBT rainbow flag. Then all that was left was font choices. I picked Myriad Variable Concept for its professional clean look. Then I used Brush Script MT Italic to add a fun friendly header. I really like how the fonts contrast while still working together in the way they’ve been used.

Final Thoughts
I like the way this design turned out and it was gratifying to see my work posted in the community. I love doing work that helps out both my community and movements I feel passionate about.
